But not in France :)

Continue to enjoy - it certainly looks good enough to eat! Great capture my friend!
My personal opinion is it should be banned because of the force feeding-but if people had not learned about the forced feeding would they have wanted it banned ?
And as a Frenchman once said, "To know how to eat is to know how to live." I find it significant that while the French eat everything full fat while Americans chow down on "calorie-reduced" non-fat foods, obesity and obesity-related illnesses are practically non-existent in France (the wonderful guaranteed health care they get that the USA will never know notwithstanding). I decided several years ago to adopt the French and Mediterranean diet - damn the fat, damn the calories, full-speed ahead - and despite all the fat (mainly from butter and olive oil), I have managed to drop about forty pounds with little effort. Meanwhile, my fellow Americans continue to sip diet sodas and nibble at "fat-free" foods as their waistlines continue to expand, unabated. Is there a message, here?
LOOKS GOOOOOD...Miammmm miammm :)
I loved this as a child but as years passed, it became very difficult to get and very expensive. It is a shame the food chain is beginning to miss a few links - thanks to humans who put human emotions inside an animal - as if a human could ever experience what any animal feels or does. I may not eat much meat any more but its not because the government tells me not to...its because I can't afford it.
The way they stuff the birds is not humane, I read.
That's awesome news. Veal will be next I hope.
I know nothing about it, in Australia. but looks good to eat.
Looks good to me! :D Excellent capture!
lovely and now got to eat
Lovely shot, I love my food anyway but must confess it is rare for me to eat this.
Thank you to all (the pros and cons), to have said honestly what you are thinking about this.
I had to google this to read more about it, and it showed a video of how these ducks are feed and treated and it looked pretty disturbing to me. I wouldn't be ordering it after that. On a sort of similar subject I saw where in New York that they were going to ban the extra large drinks you see some people drinking to stop obesity? Myself I order a small or medium which I don't want that huge drink for one it doesn't fit in my cup holder in my car and I don't want to pay for that I usually get water or just a cup of ice, and add my own coke. Does the government really think that it going to control obesity, are they going to outlaw M & M's next I think we all have to make our decisions on whats right for our bodies and what is right and sits right in our own beliefs. Good post
I had google also, as I am sure I have heard the name but no idea as to what it is. superb food capture
Looks good!!!!
It looks great to eat, great shot!
