This is the famous Chapman's Peak Drive in Cape Town, South Africa. It has been closed for a couple of years while the authorities worked feverishly to make the road safe. They had huge problems with rockfalls, so a lot of work had to be done. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and extend of the work done and the fact that, as far as possible, they made all the safety features blend in with the mountains and nature! I have just been through a whirlwind, week long tour through my lovely country (for work) and managed to have a few hours R&R in the gorgeous Cape Town.
