Description
Faemike55 asked me which one was the movie that was wrapped around the reel projector in my previous post.
Here is, the biography of one of the greatest filmmakers in cinema, which marked the way for filmmakers ranging from Willis O'Brien to Tim Burton, not to mention Ray Harryhausen and George Lucas, as it was he who saw (and did reality) the magic of the movies: Georges Melies.

thank you very much for the dedication. I looked up the person you described and realized that he had made a great and fun SciFi movie. Great shot of the reel and box.
Yes, he was the first on special effects . The film "Hugo" is about his history.
Realmente excelente e nostalgico, excelente photo!
Unfamiliar to me, I will look further!
Great feel
Very nice dedication. Thanks also for the information.
A great piece of work and thanks for the info.
Cool shot!
A grea photo and a wonderful information about Georges Melies. In high school, I would volunteer to show movies, in other class rooms, instead of sit in a study room. I was able to see many old movies - some without sound and voices!
wonderful shot here
Fantastic shot and dedication. Excellent monochrome tones and great informations.
when I was attending OSU I worked as audio visual operator for the campus movie theater.once I was showing a Sidney Poitier film and the previous person got the canisters out of order.I showed 1 3 2 4.no one noticed and I did want to say anything to a room full of huge football players. then another time the projector broke right in the middle an important movie.I got an ear full of complaints on it.luckily I grabbed another projector and got the show on the road outstanding subject and capture
It's great to see this, Neto. A very special dedi for Mike.
Nice shot and info! I confess, I hadn't heard of Ray Harryhausen until you mentioned him in reference to one of my own posts. I Googled him and found that I was very familiar with his work, just not his name. :) Very fun and interesting series you're doing here!
Excellent capture.
