Winter cold is in the air Everything is shades of blue The skies The water The trees Mother nature has tucked everything in Pulled them to her breast To provide some warmth until spring The birds have all gone Because they are free But you and I have no wings We cannot fly But we do have each other And we will make it too I was looking through some old pictures today and I found this one and decided to play with it a little. It looks so cold out and it was pretty chilly that day. I decided to write a little something to go with it. I write so much because I just love to write. My pen is my wings, it lets me fly.
