As I sit here tonight
My heart is on fire with anticipation
Every nerve ending tingles with delight
Just knowing soon I will hear your voice
See your beautiful face
Both of us opening our souls
So the other can touch
Not afraid to tell the truth
Not afraid to hear the truth
And if our friendship bends
There is no fear
It will ever break
