Description
Just starting to hatch. There were only 5 eggs to start with in this box, but the pair in the box on my pergola are sitting on 9 or 10 eggs.
For those of you concerned that we take record shots of nests, read this information on the subject here.

What tenderness! Lovely capture! :)
oooohhhhh so sweet !!
Lovely Andrea. They aren't in our garden this year but we have a couple of terrace boxes up for the sparrows and have four out of six occupied. We also have a blackbirds nest but a crow robbed that one!
a lovely picture of this homely scene
Have done volunteer work for an organiztion called "Hawk watch international", I know exactly what your recording! Great mug shot of these new borns!
I am not concerned. You do a great job doing this. Wonderful little new babies.
WONDERFUL CAPTURE
Ttotally lovely and no sign of their yellow bellies yet!
Marvelous capture of these little critters. Baby birds look so much cuter once they grow some feathers
awh so sweet hugs susan~
Bluetits? I don't think I've ever seen any that color, even in sketching nude models...(lol). You acquired a good POV in this shot of the Easterlike eggs and the little hatchlings, Andrea. The nest was built with loving care and looks most comfortable.
Aww, sweet shot!
How wonderful to get this shot of these little babies. They look so cute and nude.
Oh my! poor dears need a blanket for the cool nights! I had no idea these birds would lay that many eggs! Wonder if that female is now rethinking the number of eggs and wondering how on earth she's going to feed that brood of chicks??
Life in all forms... Nice shot. Aloha
Amazing sight and capture Andrea. God Bless.
Someone is singing for their supper, amazing capture!!
Hope the stay warm that bare skin could get a bit chilled love this shot hon.
wow!
So Amazing.
This is genius. I feel like the one in the middle, most days. We have crows nesting on a ledge outside our office at work; unfortunately it's against regs to take cameras into work, but I need to get a photo like this. What's a job anyway? Thanks for sharing!
That nest looks so warm and cosy.
Aw that little one looks so cute with his mouth open. Wonderful capture Andrea, thanks for sharing.
Vulnerable little things, I am reminded of the little one I tried desperately to hand rear and failed.
Sooooo sweet!!!
