Hello!, Welcome!, what can I get you ?....
Well here it is....the REAL world that has so rudely interrupted my virtual bliss.Welcome to the Riverside Bowl & Laser Quest, 300 Bar.Due to British Law I'm not allowed to take pictures when there are actually people in the building, so this was this morning just before we opened.As you'll see from the lower middle picture the weather was lovely for the time of year....and you wonder why Rob keeps jetting off to America :-) Actually this IS good weather for us, one of the busiest Sundays ever, after all who wants to be outdoors in that? Gives a good idea of what I mean when I say "the Fort and Lighthouse are on the doorstep" too.Well if you're ever passing there's a pint in the pump with your name on it, just tell me, "I sent you"...until then...cheers!

I like a nice game of darts, myself, but I don't see any dart boards or dart machines, so I'll just have a seat and a glass of ice water, if you don't mind. Thanks for taking these pictures ... it's nice to see where you work!

Well, Neil - nice to see where you work! Is the upper photo a panorama? Looks it, and darned good, too! Looks like a rather different kind of place. I assume the apparatus is all electronic bowling (saves space!) and billiards. Good thing there are no Spartans in sight! No risk of loosing your head! Do you also have laser shoot-outs (or am I off the mark here?)? The weather looks rather normal, but, who wants to be out in it (except ducks)? I clearly see the light house and the fort. But, is the sign hung askew like that on purpose? :) There seems to be good space for a pint or two. Nice, comfy couches! And Neil behind the bar, dishing it out to all who've come in from the wet, cold, windy out doors. Nice job doing the photos before opening time. Lets you do them nice and slow and planned. Keep up the good work! :-) Oh, and a Guiness. :)
