In the highlands just outside of Bryce Canyon, southern Utah. One of my collecting sites for my graduate work field studies. Except for the relative paucity of beer, southern Utah is one of my favourite places to be in the world.

your comments bring back memories. I was raised in Utah. Once we went on a x-country ski trip and I packed in some beer. It got very cold at night and the next day I was able to drink slushy beer, but my good friends had to melt snow...
