To go along with my version of Mother Nature, here is Father Time as he pertains to my comic book universe. These two are the parents of New Year’s Eve, and they are literally the mythic figures of time and nature. They are immoral beings of flesh and blood tasked with controlling and watching over their respective spheres of the universe. They aren’t so much super-heroes like their daughter, but physical representations of the laws of the universe, and therefore don’t usually get involved in mortal matters such as crime-fighting like she does. Therefore, they don’t really need any kind of fancy base of operations to use for thwarting evil doers and solving crimes, but they do need some kind of simple mystical home base for doing their cosmic jobs. So, I might want to think about that at some point and create something for them. I also might want to consider giving them some kind of help in the way of some kind of angelic assistants or something, much like how Santa has is elves, and Peter Cottontail has his Moai Men. It’s just a thought, They’re obviously powerful enough to do everything on their own, and God is also a very real thing above them, so it’s not like he couldn’t just do things on his own as well, but they are basically immortal humans, and even if they don’t need to eat or sleep, are they really just standing around in space somewhere just magically controlling all of time and nature everywhere in the universe at once? Yeah, IDK, I’ll need to consider some things about exactly how their roles work, and what they do all the time, because it must be pretty boring, or else NYE wouldn’t have left to do her own thing. But, perhaps it’s all they know, and they’re just really dedicated and committed to the job because they have to be, and can’t really take vacations or anything. Eve, is supposed to be their successor should they just stop or somehow be stripped of their power as unlikely as that would be, but all the same, she is their backup, but as said before, she’d rather do her own thing as a heroine instead of being the next watchwoman of the universe. Anyhow, I have a lot to think about with these two. But, only in terms of what their home looks like, and if they are just the two of them together, or if they have any helpers or not, because if they really do ever need to go anywhere else in the universe and must leave their home, they have the power to just instantly teleport wherever they need to go, that’s not even an issue or a question.
