Description
On the stage of life, we are not always in control. There are others who pull the strings.
I first created this image in September 2010 and it didn't turn out well at all so I soon after removed it from my galleries. A while ago, I decided to give it another shot and have been working on it ever since. I moved the camera to a more dynamic angle, resized the stage, enhanced the prop and human materials, reposed the figures, and painted some new textures for various elements. This time, in post-work, I didn't add any grungy overlays and instead enhanced its clarity and color. The old artwork was dull and flat while this one is full of color and depth with a greater sense of the surreal. I'm so glad I decided to revisit this scene!
