Description
Bryce7Pro/DazStudio/Photoshop
I've had this model,The Moonlugger by rj001,for over half a year and never used it!In my opinion,rj001 is one of the best vehicle and ship modellers out there, and perhaps one of the most under-rated...his designs are believable and very detailed, they could easily be in use today or the very near future.I haven't seen or heard of him in the galleries lately, hopefully we will see him soon!
Michael3 base and Spacesuit, with a LoRes Maintenance Worker in the Moonlugger cab,are from Daz3D and imported from DazStudio.Moonlugger is from Renderosity's Marketplace, with my own modified Bryce texturing.Sensor tower is a Bryce model with preset materials applied, terrains are textured in two Seriously Real Materials from Daz3D.Sky,light and atmo are all custom...sky used as IBL.Postwork included footprints, light glow,a levels and saturation boost, signature and resizing.
On a personal note,I am featured in the latest issue of 3D Art Direct magazine, which has featured such artists as Rutra,JCD,Phillip Drawbridge and many more artists I consider as the top of the field.I am honored and humbled to be now among them.If you want to see this issue, log on to 3dartdirect.com and register for the free issue(#16)'Thanks for taking the time to view, and for any comments!

OUTSTANDING IMAGE and I agree with your comments about rj001. I just wish he would produce his designs in Poser format with full textures.
cool
Fantastic image and models. Great atmo and lighting. Corrie
Yes, that is an awesome model. Like the posing of the character and the haze really gives the effect of dust being kicked up. Congrats on being featured in the mag.
I've seen a few of his creations and I must say you have used this particular one proudly!...Man !....Did You Ever!!....Flip'n Awesome Scene!!
Beautiful science fiction
Excellent sci-fi scene, great oppressive atmo.
First, congratultions on your "elevation" to the big leagues. You certainly have earned it. Second, I totally agree with you about rj100's models. I think his model production has gone up quite a bit in the last year or so, and that might be why he isn't producing pictures so much these days. Anyway, you did him proud with this one. Love the POV. Very effective.
superlative scene and render
Wonderful sci-fi scene...I can see this on a two page spread in a sci-fi art book! Excellent!
Nice image. I like the Haze. And congratulations!
Yup, really fine model set in a very credibly executed scene; love the use of haze. Effective use of camera banking as well. Fine job!
Awesome rendering work!
Amazing work as always. You are very deserving of the recognition you are getting with 3D art Direct magazine. Keep at it Bud!
Another great render, and the mention in 3D Art Direct is well deserved! Congratulations!
Red dust, my goodness it looks so real!
Excellent work.
