Plant Ant is one of my favorite characters, not because of his design or anything, but because although not specifically mentioned above due to space limitations, he is one of the most developed characters of the group as far as his origins go. I've written a lot of notes about his race of ant-people, and how their society is structured that I hope to reveal in some comics someday. He also has two brothers, one of whom is a fellow hero belonging to the Galactic Police Enforcers, Rainbow Trout's former team mentioned in his profile, and the other who is a villain, and part of one of their teams of foes. Lastly, he has a sister, who is the commanding officer for the defense force of the Ant-People of planet Vegtan. Plant, and his siblings, brothers, "Carpenter" and "Fire," and their sister, "Army," all come from the "Political Colony" of the "Defense Mound" which is the primary seat of power of their Queen, and the main population center for their society. There are other "mounds" and "colonies" devoted to various other aspects such as different arts and sciences and even entertainment centers within their lands, but there is overlap, as not every ant is tied to a specific colony center, which is why Plant and his siblings can be from the colony of politics and defense, when not all of their individual abilities particularly align with that. This is because there is always a need for a variety of individuals with a variety of talents in any and all population centers.
