Very beautiful wiev and great photo , Alan !
lol, andrea says "somewhere I've actually BEEN!" I haven't even been to England. A beautiful climbing winnowing capture, ending in some houses & other structures at top...along with the open 'bay' of water. There's really a lot going on in this shot. You know, from the pics in your gallery, I think the only place we have in the States like this would be Maine (and, to continue, the eastern Canada coast in New Brunswick, Labrador, etc.) But the difference is, those locales are harsh and foreboding in many areas, and seem ready to swallow up the residents if they don't watch out. This area of England, for all the cragginess of the coast, seems much more lush & gentle. That's at least how it seems, from photographs. As I say, there's a lot going on in this shot, and the winding visual path takes us past what could almost be aerial views of large canyons and high bluffs & ridges. A very full capture, Alan.
Great shot, great view!
Great catch!
Great view, excellent capture! :)
I like the POV from the rocks towards the town.
