Description
Cape Cross (Kaap Kruis) one out of many seals
Just at a half mile distance from my Jackal capture,( earlier posting) you find a very, very large number of seals at Kaap Kruis .
I took a lot of photos, all without a tripod, yes I’m too lazy to carry one. There was not a lot of light!!!
The day started with a lot of fog, well known in the area, and when we reached Cape Cross it was still without a blue sky!!
(Where the Namib desert reaches the Atlantic Ocean in Namibia you can suffer from fog!!!).
We made in May 2011 a trip through the southern part of Africa ( RSA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia) .
Thanks for viewing, and your lovely words on my yesterdays posting, a special thanks for those who earmarked the image as favorite; comments are always welcome.
Have a very nice day,
Henk

Wonderful photo capture!
Just love the snooty seal look & the texture of the coat!!
What a familiar pose! Gosh - they seem so lazy... Lovely image Henk despite the lack of good light.
He has the appearance of royalty. Love the seals.
