Description
I thought I'd take my file from this image http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=2316968 and apply a new texture and hairstyle.
Then I set out to simulate a "Ring Flash" effect. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ring_flash
All I did was place a tarus off camera with an ambient channel applied.
I lucked out on the positioning pretty quickly for the reflections I wanted.

Sweet looking effect. Nicely done.
