Description

The devastation caused to the Zentraedi armada by the firing of the SDF-1’s main gun upon its exit from the Asteroid Belt has been enormous with nearly three quarters of the enemy fleet destroyed in one huge, titanic blast. As the aliens withdraw to plan their next move the decision is made by the captain of the SDF-1 to leave the huge battle-fortress in its reconfigured mode so that the main gun can once again be fired should it become necessary. As life slowly starts to return to some sense of normality within the battle-fortress both the civilian and military inhabitants of the SDF-1 work to rebuild what was destroyed when the fortress reconfigured as once again the ship starts to make the long journey onward toward its next destination - Mars. Having reorganized their forces the Zentraedi are once again waiting as the SDF-1 makes its approach to Mars and once again the ships defenders fly out to meet yet another threat from the huge alien invaders.
