Description
This image is for my friend MrsLubner (PK). This weekend she is attending a memorial for her niece, Shannon, who was murdered last December leaving two young children behind to live a life without their mom."My Irish Angel"
There is much symbolism going on here and right now the details are only known between PK and I. That may change - you may want to check back.
PK is the central figure. She is of native American heritage. In her hands are the light of the sun and moon.
Her niece is the large pot by her side.
Her children are the two small pots each with a piece missing.
The skull is for the ancestors and connects MrsLubner with her niece.
The four Crocus flowers are for rebirth.
It needs a full size view.

Very beautiful render!!!!!!
Moving thoughts. Thoughts with PK. Clive
Roxy... this is beautiful. (I truly believe that no other words are necessary.)
Wonderful scene and info, thank you!!!
This is really lovely, both in spirit and in artistry. I really like the positioning of the raven, and your symbolism is truly striking. Thank you for sharing the meaning of so many of these elements. The richness of the colours and textures of the foreground is even more dramatic when contrasted with what appears to be a desolate background, and that your raven is flying away from that desolate space deeper into the vibrant foreground has its own layers of meaning I think. Well done and a truly outstanding dedication piece. Health and healing to you all.
Fabulous image! Great character and the setting is a real eye-catcher!
This is amazing work and incredibly touching as it's also a superb memorial dedication. I love the autumnal colors and the obvious inclusion of symbols that aren't as obvious as one may think. They're there, but not everyone sees them immediately, or even knows what to look for. For me, that is always a great way to add depth to something. One doesn't need to know everything or recognize everything in an image. One simply has to recognize that there are things at play that are more behind the scenes, and that's what I get in looking at this, without ever having to read the well-written introduction/dedication. This is a moving, and beautiful piece of work.
