That is such a pretty location! It looks like the sort of place my wife and I would have loved to stop and rest while walking our dogs (back when our dogs were alive -- they have both passed on and we just haven't moved on emotionally to get new ones). Thanks for posting.
Such a great place. I love the tree with all those textures and colors on it. And what a wonderful light is on your photo, Klaus.
great place for to kiss your girlfriend
~Wonderful capture!~
Superb oaks, peaceful place and splendid capture!
A beautiful sun-dappled location, Klaus. Well spotted. I hope that you had time to sit for a minute or two, and just 'soak in' the atmosphere. bird song, insect flight, mysterious leaf rustling etc. .. ;o) Warm regards as a mini heat wave hits Scotland for the fourth day .. a minor miracle, John.
Splendid capture! :)
Beautiful capture Klaus! :) Took my first hike at the park for this year yesterday. Man are my legs sore today. The problem with getting older is you get out of condition faster. ;)
Wonderful shot.
SO lovely!! Your forest is very steep so I expect the seats are very welcome.

A wonderful place to spend an afternoon with a thermos of coffee and a good book. Beautiful.
Another gorgeous forest shot, this one showing some rather steep terrain to negotiate, Klaus. My legs and knees would be aching forever after roaming around there.

That almost looks like it could be here in Northern California...
