I see a lot of Sanitary Sewer covers - but what about the unsanitary ones? Great captures and cool collage wonderful dedication to Andrea
cool looking
A great collection, can't believe they can be so different.
Nice shots! I read not too long ago that there's been people actually stealing manhole covers and selling them to scrap-metal places. I can't imagine how you'd get away with that... Fascinating collection you have there.
~Cool collage!~
Oh my goodness when we were coming out of pet smart last week I noticed the companies name that made that manhole cover :))) That is pretty neat how finally paid attention to a manhole cover, and you are posting images of different ones. :)))) Excellent collage and captures my friend. :))))) Thank you for sharing. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))
they are regularly stolen here leaving gaping holes for cars to hit.then they sell for a small price at recyclers, but the city is making things hard for people selling metal now I love key West.too bad I only had part of a day there
Very cool collage of manhole's!
cool collage Dana of the covers.
Great textures my friend, amazing collection, very well done!
Wow, there must be a ton of different manhole cover patterns in the USA. I don't recognize any of these, and I've seen more than my share. That said, nice collage of the metallic art, Dana.
wonderful captures!!
I like these! When I was in high school, the man across the alley wanted me to come and work in his company, which was Norwood Foundry. Their main products were manhole covers (personhole covers?) which didn't hold much interest for me. I wonder what might have happened had I done that? Later I developed quite an interest in metal castings. Funny eh? Nice collage Dana; I think Andrea will like it!
Very nice set of capture Dana.
Nice shots Dana, good start to your new book. Manhole covers of the USA.
cool idea for shots of this different !!
Doors to the underworld. I'm sure Andrea will love these Dana.
Wonderful captures and dedication, dear Dana. Have a good day. Hugs for all day. Di. xx
Really interesting, Dana! A strange name for these; 'Sanitary Sewer'! I happen to know that the sewer which passes below the road outside my house is 8 metres below ground..quite a drop if one should fall down the hole. I could never have guessed that I should in later life have pics of sewer covers dedicated to me.. Thankyou!
I have never seen one names Sanitary Sewer. Interesting in zoom!!
Nice collection Dana!! :)
Great selection here and awesome pic.
Awesome collage my friend.
Yup, these look more like what I'm used to seeing; not too sanitary in appearance, though! Great shots and presentation!
I've seen what one does to a car when left not centered over the hole...not pretty....lol... Unique Capture Dana!..
wonderful image
Excellent capture and collage! :) There are as many different manhole covers as there are fire hydrants. ;)
Nice collection of shots Dana, like Andrea's reply :)
Good shots of this variety of Florida manhole covers.
The one up left look like the one in Canada :)
