Description
Currently providing the art direction for the upcoming web based game Socius Bellum..Allied Warfare... I thought I would post one of the overview images I have created for the online board game. While the game images will be a bit brighter in color.. I couldn't resist doing one of my normal bad weather versions for you all to see.
Render done in Vue 9.5 Inf, and I have added a PS edge layer to the entire scene if you winder about the artifacts you may see over the render.
we are shooting for April 15 for a beta release and if you are interested in being an online beta tester, join our mailing list at..

Wow! very ambitious and detailed. Felt like I was there seeing it all myself.
Good posing. Lots of detail that makes the scene feel alive and not stagnant.
Wow, that is really detailed. Excellent image. Full of hussle and bussle. But, if you are trying for absolute realism. Don't skeletons fall apart after the flesh that holds them together is gone? - Bob
nice- lot of work evident
Your correct Bob..just haven't worked up a corpse yet..so the sheleton will have to do for the moment.
~Incredibly well done!!~
Superb in full size!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great! Like an old painting!
An amazing amount of detail has gone into this - love the knarled look of the trees and use of birds through the scene too - fantastic!
I'm admiring! Bravo,Maestro!
great scene with excellent details
Totally amazing, Don! Excellent details, great view. Most of the time I'd wrinkle my nose at painting-effect postwork, but here it really works and "does something". Well done. 5*
Great details, must see in full size. Excellent render and composition. B->

Every now and then something 'Epic' comes along...and today was one of those days...Man o man this is awesome in zoom!
Wow! That would be insane to render. Love those castle elements. Fantastic work.
I'm speechless. I am a big fan of the Middle Ages. This picture is just like a window into another era ... Fabulous!
