Description
Inspired by the portraits done by Reborne, I'm trying to learn how to make my own filters in Filter Forge. This is my first filter. I applied it to a number of selections taken from the photo. This looks painted, whereas Reborne's look organic, but I thought it pretty enough to post.

The horse photo is from venomxbaby at DA, and she asked for a link "on" the image. Seems a bit off-putting, but I am relying on the kindness of a stranger for a stock photo, so I'll comply. Hope it's ok put on a border.

That having to put her url right on the image does kinda suck .. it makes it appear as if she did the work .. and you posted it. There must be a better way. The horse turned out so totally phenomenal! I love the colors, makes the horse seem on fire .. a magical being! I'm so glad you posted it. And yeah .. that eye is fabulous, and it draws my eyes right to it!
