Description

Looking up a neighbor's driveway. Slightly embarrassing story to go with this one. After walking about a mile & a half in the snow with my wife & our friend Eva, we came to another friends driveway & decided to surprise them with a visit. We were about halfway up when I saw a building in the distance that I didn't recognize (we had been here at least a dozen times, though never in the snow). I asked my wife if she was sure we were on the right driveway. She looked at the building too & said no, we'd better turn around - so we did. I don't know if it was a snow mirage, a trick of the light, or just a senior moment, but later that day, my wife talked to our friend & she told her they found a set of tracks that ended halfway up their driveway. We felt kind of foolish, but at least I got this photo out of it... Please zoom
