Description
One good thing about crappy wet weather...I get to stay inside on my days off from work and do what I love best...3D animation !
So here we have a frame from my new project "BotRage". I'm trying for as much realism as possible within Lightwave 9.6.
This particular bot has a real problem with shitty drivers and spots this lamer in the souped-up red Skycar displaying some really below average wheel skills !
Really, the whole concept stems from my hatred of #&@^!*( drivers I(we) have to cope with on a day to day basis...ie: no indicators, on the phone, doing make-up, eating breakfast, going slow in the fast lane, arms hanging out the window, going over the center double line and worst of all TEXTING...you get the picture, right ?
Cheers jif3d :o)

makes me want to mount a set of 50 cals under the headlights and perhaps a 105 recoiless on the roof, just to get rid of the idiots Great image
... and don't believe her if she says it was on auto-pilot. The B!%@% just cut me off about two miles back. Can't wait to see the anim.
Whoa That would take care of them Jeff! nice realism and POV. Can't wait to see the animation!
And Bloody Most Of All! "Not Paying Attention" I feel your pain! Excellent image and work Buddy!
excellent scene love the bot and car great work my friend
Very good work!
... and not to speak of the young 'P' and 'L' plater's !!! - they break all the rules ... hope there are enough Bots around to take care and crush the livin' daylights out of them, then they might get the message !!! BIG BOT - NICE BOT ;-D 'Nuff said, this is a really great intro for the anim - and I am looking forward to see the whole thingy, the sooner more crappy weather will be around ;) Top marks Jeff, BB BTW - yes, in 'OZ' the driver sits always on the right OK!
cool
Ah city life I can fell the rage!
Awesome rendering work!
Need a lot of Bots like that or at least Cops that will do their Job. Legislators make it against the Law to Operate any Handheld device such as a Phone, i Pad etc while Driving but the Cops don't enforce the Law. Me, I carry a jacket pocket full of 1/2" Ballbearings when I'm Riding, some jackass cuts me off or otherwise just acting a Fool I jam up in front of them and unleash a handfull of them over my shoulder, that gets their attention real quick. Peace
we always seem to end up behind these drivers during the rush hour, nice work.
Very cool robot. When it comes to drivers I always think of George Carlin: Ever notice that everyone going slower than you is an idiot and everyone going faster is a maniac?
Excellent realism in this,if the animation looks the same it will be amazing! Nicely done as always!
Ace scene Jeff! :)
This is really cool!
Spectacular image my friend, wonderful lighting and characters, very cool image, well done!
Good one Jeff, been having a play with LW too eh in College.
wonderful sci-fi work here
here in spain exactly the same except here the females have their babies in the back seat next to a couple of 2000 watt speakers ,rendering the kids deaf before they even have a year of age. the robot would be very busy here as i see lots of shitty drivers here . its always a risk to leave the house for shopping.animals.
Superb sci-fi image!
They finally made texting, yakking, eating, and anything distracting against the law here. But, the fact that two people were hit (and snuffed) by trains while walking (with headphones blaring) is making me think the species has the attention span of a gnat at the best of times.
Excelente meu amigo, grande concepção e obra, aplausos (5)
yeah the distracted driving law that Madbat is talking about has a first fine of $150... but personally, I think having your car prezelled by a giant, rust drunk robot is a far more educational example.... but that's just me... very funny image....take a raise outa petty cash!
Very nice scifi scene Jeff...You're work always rocks!!!
Wow, what a great image. Your work is really superb. CC
Fantastic work my friend!! I sort of feel the same about drivers that aren't pa... just a second I'm having to turn the corner as I send this... smiles.
Cool sci-fi scene.
Oh Yeah... Been ther done that.... Haven't decided who's the worst. Been Coast to coast and in between... Each area has it's own flavor of Driver... And for a Little Town this one has some of the worst I've seen.... Oh yeah, The reason I started.. Cool Work Jeff, Will definitly keep an eyeout!
lol, that's the last time they'll cut someone off.
