Description
A member of the Queen's household cavalry, on duty at the gates of the Horse Guards building on Whitehall, London.
It was quite a jostle amongst the fellow tourists to get a clear shot of this young man. There was no time to compose etc, before he moved off again. I do feel that he was accommodating though, as I was on my knees for this shot!
Have a great weekend!

Super shot Clive and I like that short guy standing between his legs!!
Inspired!
Superb capture, lovely good job.
wonderful shot that says, you will not pass
and they serve in all the hot spots too
Superb capture Clive. Love the capture and composition. Your timing is spot on capturing the person in the background in between the guard's legs. God Bless.
No mate! They are not allowed to move.. they have to stand a fixed amount of time at the spot them move, doesn't matter if your there or not.. I have seen so complete morons try to get reactions from them (Rosy was there as well....ashamed to say they were Americans!) I got a shot like this, BUT nowhere ear as close! A stunner! Rob
A very good photo!
Great capture
Creative POV & composition - great shot...
ab-s-lu-te-ly stunning, Clive!!! these colours 'work'! brilliant POV too!!!
Wonderful shot, Clive; I sure don't understand the reason for the "chin strap", though, it looks awfully uncomfortable!
I'm with Denise. I know it might be a little silly of me, but I always worry about those chin straps. They seem to land in the most ridiculous places! Aside from that, which has nothing to do with your talent as a photographer, this is great! :)
Wonderful composition. Great angle on this shot.
Ready to fight and save the queen ! (I hope).
Well, I think I would go crazy with that hat and the thing under my mouth... Well done shot.
An exceptional POV and photo.
