Go softly on the wind,
lift unlabored
as you can.
Glide across rippling grass;
no need to worry
about height or gain.
Change direction
smooth and quick,
just as shorebirds turn.
Rustle tips of tallest trees
and dip between
their tangled vines.
Bound aloft to unclouded skies,
above bitter streams
of sanguine life.
Come down when ready
and not before
and let no one say...
You can't do that.
