Description
Safely locked onto one of the lower docking ports of the VBSP-1 the first two component elements of NASA’s MMS-1 spacecraft have now made the long journey from the Earth far below to the vastness that is outer space.
Pressure suited astronauts will now enter the modules to check-out and ensure that the highly complex systems which make up the two joined elements of the spacecraft have arrived undamaged and can now be prepared for the additional elements which will be joined to them in the coming months and which are even now are being prepared for launch on the Earth far below.
