Description
The Skyrail stretches 7.5km from Kuranda through tropical rain forests to Caravonica. It was opened to the public on 31 August 1995.
There are 32 towers and 114 gondolas. The highest tower is 40.5m (133-ft) high.
The Kuranda station is 336m (1,100-ft) above sea level, Read Peak is skytrain's highest station at 545m (1,788-ft)above sea level, and Caravonica terminal is only 5m (16-ft) above sea level.
