Description
Tonight we see a picture of lights and shadows on the frozen moat in Bozzano. The illumination is given by the oblique light of sunset (we saw the culmination of two days ago in the photo). The result is a 'picture in abstract shapes and sculpted by light that is fading into the shadows. To get an idea of the cold, is the first time in 20 years that I see the ditch frozen that way. I created a texture that has the task of giving prominence to enlightened forms. (I hope I have this).
In those days I had the satisfaction of seeing my name in the list of favorite artists (now at 18 °). I confess that I asked explanations to PK ,because I thought those error messages, then at the third Giono, I understand.
Better late than never !
Good evening

wonderful capture !!looks like a broken mirror too !!
Great pov and shot ; only artists can capture that kind of moment
very nice.
wonderful!!! love the lighting & POV! & congrats! :-D well deserved!!! hope the Toscana won't suffer too much from the frost! (!) the olives & grapes for instance and more..... lots of damage to our (Tuscany) pottery in former years and to the topiary these http://www.artetopiariatoscana.com/ -ligustrum delavayanum- are not designed to live in freezers :-(
What a beautiful texture you found there and it is excellently captured too :)
Wonderful work, dear Mario. So cold! Hugs for all day. Di. xx

Great capture!! With your camera you are a wizard my friend!
~Beautiful light and textures!~
Amazing patterns and textures in this photo my friend. I did not see it as ice at first view. :>)
surreal - thaw, freeze, thaw, freeze, looks like broken glass. I see this is not a place for ice-skating. And now spring will soon be here.
