Description
Today was blue skies and cold weather..perfect for walking..which is what I did!
This photo has so many characteristics of the landscape of north Derbyshire..limestone walls, the hills and wide views. Lovely area very close to my home, so I'm lucky! Do zoom in as there's plenty to see. We did a circular walk from Hartington and the ridge in the background, looking like a real mountain, is Chrome Hill.
Thanks for viewing and nice comments on the red rose.

Beautiful landscape with the walls, superb shot!
I REMEMBER THIS LANDSCAPE, SO BEAUTIFUL
Beautiful shot! I'm in awe of those stone walls, I can't even begin to imagine how long people must have worked to make them. Several generations, I suspect. Still, it sure makes for a very lovely scene!

Beautiful landscape and it does look perfect for walking. Looks sort of some areas I have seen in northern Ireland , at least the rock walls do!
