Description
Hi there. Yes it's me and hopefully I'm back. I know I said that when I posted that photo but my mum passed away on 4 November. I only found out 1 November that she had terminal cancer. No one knew and she died thinking that she had a broken back.
Every morning I wake up and for a split second I expect to hear the phone checking I've not slept in and missed the school bus! then I remember and my heart breaks all over again.
I know this isn't much of a picture. It's just to get me back into the swing of things. First render on a laptop too. So if any mistakes that I haven't seen then pls forgive me. I haven't looked at poser in 2 years.
I hope you are well....and thank you to my friends. I love you x
hugs n love
Lou

Cancer is heart breaking and it affects many of us. The situation is reversed in our family as my daughter has stage 4 melanoma. Know that you are not alone and someday you will meeet your mother again.......Nice work on the portrait.
excellent work and i am sorry for your loss you will be in my thoughts and prayers
well young lady glad to see you opened up poser. tis good to let art go through you no matter what. and it is a moving and telling image.. and I see no flaws. Much love!
Sorry to hear about your loss. Both my parents also passed away with cancer. Hope your family recovers well. Take care of yourself. BTW good emotive portrait.
Awwww.........A beautiful tribute!! I lost my dad a few years back, and two brothers a few years earlier, both within a month of each other. The empty hole remains, a scar on the fabric of my life. It's never going to go away, and I realize that. My life will never be the same, and I miss them dearly! But life goes on, and while the pain is there at times, it's not as harsh, nor as long lasting. I'm sorry for your loss M'lady, yet glad that you are able to do something to move forward. You have an amazing knack for being able to translate your art, from your life circumstances and sharing all that emotion with the world and us. You have incredible talent!!! I've not been around here much since my dad died, I vow to change that, if you can take those first steps, so can I. I'm grateful for this post, I hate as to why, but you are also an inspiration. Many thanks for that,...I needed something to help me get out of my slump. Thank you for guiding me back out of the fog. You are my lighthouse, on a damp autumn night!
Excellent work
sad to hear. ... but beautiful, lively red colors you use.
Yes it is a sad thing Lou- I am still going through it - I dreamed of Mom Last night and realized that she wasn't here- I woke up crying...It is a hard thing and I send out my thoughts and prayers and love to you dear...I hope that we one day will get the strength and the peace to know that they are in a better place and we will see them soon.. Love ya Anne
First of all my sincere condolences. I know the pain you are going through so well, lost my mum to cancer 2006 and not even 2 years later my dad died. I never believed when people told me that it will get easier but it really does, it just needs time for grieving and healing. One day at a time. Beautiful and emotional portrait that shows your feeling.
death of a loved one is always hard, glad to see your coping welcome back and a great image can see you haven't lost the touch
It beautiful sugar, hope you are doing alright, miss you around but yup it takes time...mine will be gone for 2 years this coming July (my birtday month too)and it still is hard to not expect seeing the hospital bed in the room or hear her making her noises.
Beautiful, I am so sorry. My sincere condolences. I hope as time goes by that your heart lightens. God bless you.
Glad to see you back. Hugs to you. Anniversaries are always hard.
