Description
This is a typical Clarice Cliff design probably from the 1930s. I was in the Potteries Museum recently which has one of the best ceramic collections in the UK. She inspired a revolution in the decoration of ceramics, introducing new shapes and designs. She was one of a group of women designers in the Potteries working from the 30s onwards.
