Description
"I just had enough of 'is hatred an' abuse. I can't take no more. Ya should o' heard the things 'e says about both of ya. It's terrible," Damara frowned, reaching for her goblet.
Ursala paced back and forth in front of Damara and Moira - thinking. "Oh trust me girl, I don' get up or down about anything thet brother o' yours says. I doubt Moira does either, do ya?"
Moira waved her hand in dismissal. "Hardly." All she could really think about was Angus leaving morning after next.
"Is there anything else ye think of might help, Damara," Ursala asked. Like Eulali, Ursala could read people's minds. Damara was indeed sincere.
"I know he mentioned 'e were gonna summon Connor, but I din' wanta say that in front o' Morgan."
"We figured he would," Ursala rolled her eyes. "Has 'e got any sorcerers or mages of any power on 'is side?"
"He's lost maybe a dozen or so in the last half yaren. Only one I can think of," Damara began. Her brow furled for a moment. "There's a mage from the south - the land of the Cmyry. A druid, I think. His name is Dyfed ap Fennan. Seems like he's one ya should watch out for. He's got bright red long hair an' a beard. Always wears a black cloak though. Mog seemed to think he's better than most. He's got a moon staff made o' brass. I know that. A crescent, it is. Can't think of noone else, really. They're all a lot o' pretenders. Mogs more powerful than all of 'em put together...except maybe Dyfed."
"Anything else, lass? I know you're tired an' distressed. If ya want, I'll summon ma dragon ta keep watch o'er ya, whilst ya sleep - if it'd make ya feel better."
"Ya would?" Damara looked genuinely grateful for the offer. "Oh thank ya, Ursala. Thank ya so much...both of ya." She turned and threw her arms around Moira. "I'm sorry 'bout what I did...tried ta do ta Angus. Really. Will ya forgive me, Moira?"
Moira drew back from her a bit and looked her square in the eye. "You just be who ya say ya want ta be now, Damara. Thet's good enough. A'right?"
Forgiveness was going to take some proving on her part. Damara knew that. "A'right. I'll accept that."

Yes, vampires might cast shadows, after all, dear Rayvn ! And they gossip as well!LOL! Very nice scene, I like the pose and the soft color tones! Cheers, O.
Very cool scene and image getting better and better
I would not have even thought of it. I suspect here you were in same boat as I was with my dragon - too far in to fix. This was a good plot move, IMHO. Damaru is trustworthy and Mog has a strong ally.
I love it. 5+!
great lighting ! well done scene
..wonderful scene and text, but then they always are my friend
Another fantastic composition my friend, gorgeous lighting and characters, superb writing! Well done!
an excellent intimate scene shared amongst friends--the browns are really nice backdrops against the solid and vibrant cloth colors!
Really great 'girls only' scene. Very cool scene and it's an interesting mixture of modern and old in the props of the scene. This lends a very mystical and magical mood, as it should. Great exchange between the ladies and I'm sure Damara will come through in the end. Funny about the shadow. I guess you could turn off shadows for just Ursula. That would be interesting. She does not cast a shadow, but her outfit does, weird.
Nice Lightning There
