Description
I love the crackle
Of the video fireplace
Playing on the big screen TV
The smell of fresh bacon
Sizzling in the microwave
As the aroma of my low fat
Non fat
Chocolate mocha
Grande latte
Fills the house
It was true then
And its true today
Be it ever so humble
There’s no place like home
Hello my friends, for the last week I have been out in the cold but now I am home and it is warm and wonderful lol and I feel pretty haha. Thanks for everything

LOL at the scenes you paint with your words though I prefer to use a 10" cast iron skillet for my bacon frying Glad you're okay
LOL....Fabulous work, marvelous words very well writing!
Oh you poor baby being in the cold...just like the old Boise days...I prefer my bacon in the skillet also...love the poem
Ahh!! So ~Sweet~ WORDS FOR THE HEART!!!
LOL.. great work my friend!!
Nothing like the true feel of home. :))) Most excellent poem. :)) Thank you for sharing. :))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))
sounds good to me randy.. nice writes..
Ha, this is a good play on modern times, no log fire, no pan fried bacon, nothing traditional here except that it is home, and nothing feels like home after a long hard journey.
So true are the word's you utter
Beautiful writen words dear Randy.
Love this and that is exactly what i am drinking as of right now after carrying water over to the horses and it being 7 degrees outside it is the first thing i put in my body after being in the severe cold and i mean freakin deep freeze out there.
Maravilhoso poema como sempre meu amigo, é bom saber que esta agora refugiado do frio, aplausos (5)
beautiful and so true :)
There may still be no place like home, but what ever happen to the good old days? ;D A real Fireplace, beacon sizzling in a frying pan on the stove and a good old cup of Joe. Nice prospective! :)
Lovely words. I feel that way about my computer office, LOL!
