Description
we went to a store in the city in Mexico and they have a jewel store close by and as we drove off after we went in the store I noted the armed guard outside the store and took this shot. My friend say the guard is there because of the jewel store. I did get some photos of the guard wen I was outside the store and was not in the car rideing, but I like this photo of the guard.
I did see one in a back of a truck standing up and he had a machine gun as they was parking the truck but I did not have my camera ready.
my friend say that this part of Mexico do not have the crime as other parts of Mexico have. As far as he knew on two people got killed here last year in Cozumel. In my town going by the size of the city I live in it one of the highest murder cities in Louisiana. Of course the bigger cities like baton Rouge and New Orleans have very high murder rates much higher only because they are bigger than Lake Charles.
I like this photo as it looks surreal to me

Two killings is a slow weekend in KC... Sad.. Very cool shot, Jock!
Excellent and very interesting shot. Jock !
A most excellent photo, Jocko!
I like it to Jock and I thought that Cozumel seemed very safe the last time I was there.
interesting and sad!! wonderful photo!!
Excellent capture which tells a story.
a very cool shot, quite the contrast between your friend and the guard. I think window glass in between the two adds to that surreal feel
Great shot Jock, in the UK only the police can be armed and even then only special squads, so we rely on little old ladies with handbags, Google little old lady chases robbers, she even made them drop there motor bike and leave it behind.
