This image is a reworking of a parameter Len posted yesterday called "Jump Gate". This set of parameters are very complicated, take some special handleing but offer an exceptional lot of possibilities.

The heightfield itself doesn't hold much in the exploration area, heightfirld and Waves seem more for backdrop and surface texturing than anyting, just had the thought of doing a cut on the heightfield(maybe there is something inside, hmm). Super work Jim. Peace Oh yeah, just a Tip on d.IFS, when using them only use a single iteration for each one. When using in a DE Combinate in the F1 slot make sure the Max Iterations for F1 is set to 1, even if the iteration count on F1 is set to 1 the Max Iteration count will over ride it and you'll end up with a marathon render.

You're right with the parameters being complicated, I'm fiddling around with them right now as well. It's very much fun to try various maps for the ground though. This forest is a great result!
