You have got lonely haunting images down pat.
Beautiful image! Excellent composition and atmosphere. I like the figure of the man, small against the tall, weathered walls, and even smaller against the relentless force of the sea. I like your addition of a light in his hand, as if he is staring in concern at the waters crashing down on the restraining walls. Excellent textures and glow of the lights.
Beautiful seaside scene - it looks like Venice at high tide!
