More pillars of basalt in the cliff-side at Giant's Causeway.
My router is a bit temperamental when I have a power outage - it takes anything from two hours to two days to 'see' the ADSL line again. It has been 36 hours this time...!
Enjoy what is left of the weekend,
Clive

Another great aspect I've never seen before..you have a fresh eye on this place.
Like the shot! The router shouldn't be tempermental but I just experienced the same sort of trouble. The service guy said that few last much beyond three years and he replaces them all the time. He said he thought they might get magnetized, but with my experience with circuits (37 years) that is unlikely. My observation is that they all seem to run fairly hot (meaning endless power consumption) and heat can cause all sorts of problems over the long term. I suspect that nominal values stray with heat until the circuit performance is not as designed, thus becoming marginal. Heat also affects stability of semiconductor parts. Might be time to replace the router or, if it is not old, make a warranty claim (in which case they would just replace it).
I called my ISP when this happened to me and they sent me a brand new model in the post for free! Worth a try!
Great image Hugs Susan~
nice one my friend
Wonderful capture. are you talking about the router or modem? the only time I have problems with the router is when I have all seven computers moving files from the other computers all at the same time - then all I get are time-outs. If it is the modem (the first piece of electronics encountered by the cable or DSL) then your ISP should be looking into the issue
An excellent view Clive.
Xcellent photograph!
Wonderful view, I'd so love to see this spot in person!
Fantastic capture.
Stunning capture Clive. God Bless.
