Description
A shot from Mojoplanet Ringwatcher, rendered in April in ~ 4 hrs, postworked in PS CS5 and PD pro 3 weeks ago; don't know who created this planet, but its a combining from RingRiverWorld and ShadowWatchers, I guess - both created by Armands Auseklis
Another experimenting with alien-plants in PD pro, therefore postworktime insanely long - feedback about greatly appreciated!

Great shot, like the colours of this world - If I remember right, yes Armands created both and Stewart Hyde (hstewarth) did the job of merging the two together for a challange world at 3DC, it's a great combo :)
Postwork is hard to get it right, theres so many subtlties to get just right..not too sharp, light colouration & of course the biggest problem correct lighting & shadow fall along with clarity etc. Look at the angle of light in the original render & the way that shadows fall also the darkness of those shadows...this will give you a good foundation to start from.
