Description
Djinn, jinn or as most of us know them 'genies' are creatures said to be created of smokeless fire. Like humans, they are male and female, and live in a sort of parallel world to ours where they marry, have children, etc. Sometimes they even marry with humans. So the myth goes.
It is from this Arabic word that our word 'genius' comes. They were possibly the earlier 'peri' or an Iranian faery, who were also associated with fire. These were part of a group of beings known as tutelary spirits or guides. Thus the word 'genius', which is simply a name for a being or someone who knows a lot on a certain subject.
The djinn are also shape-shifters, often turning into wolves or serpents. I suspect that in reality they were a sort of early template for the angelic chora of seraphim, as when Islam came along, the djinn and their leader Iblis in particular share many common mythical traits with certain 'fallen angels'.

I've had this outfit for awhile now and have been intending to use it. It's really beautiful and also comes with two figure morphs, skins, eyes, etc. It's called "Desert Rose" by Arki (RNDA). My Djinniya (which is simply the word for a female djinn) is based in Imaginary House's Jasmine morph, but then has the iridescent mendhi skin mat, makeup and eyes from Desert Rose. I also morphed her face shape a bit. The flames in the background are brushes from Mystikel.
Hey! It's already Wednesday. Have a wonderful one my friends and thank you so much for dropping by!
Cheers!

Fantastic and creative work.....!!!
Very delightful image and wonderful information
I like this one. I especially like how her dress transitions into flame and the hot fire like lighting. Can see her dancing around a camp fire in the desert. You seem to have a wide and rather deep knowledge of mythological beings.
eye catching, and the elements just mesh together soooo well.
Gorgeous image, and stunning lady.
