Description
Just realized that I haven't presented this one here - it was my entry for the 2011 E-ON Environment Competition. Didn't win anything or go anywhere really :)
"Cream of the Crop" at C3D, though.
Vue 8.4 render, signature & a bit downscaling in Photoshop for this version, no other postwork.
Water effects made with procedural materials and metaclouds.
Thanks for viewing.
Have a nice day

Really beautiful.
Nice work here.
I love such scenes, wonderful work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is beautiful. Inspiring vue work. So well put together.
Great scene!
Wow. Well, the images they picked for the contest were very impressive, but so is this one. I think they might have been looking for a somewhat specific drama, considering the judges all seemed to be matte painters. This is very beautiful and visually interesting, but there's something very peaceful to it. I like the turtles, too. I think this came out very realistically, with good composition and light.
Beautiful and lush jungle. A beautiful fantasy. I love the touch of blue sky and clouds.
This is how it's done. I am so impressed!
Spectacular work - well deserving of Cream of the Crop, and a lot more, IMO.
Wonderful image!! I can almost hear the sounds of the jungle dwellers!!
fantastic scene again i really like the water in the foreground , just being able to see wats below the surface in a most realistic way
