PoserPro2012 to set up the characters and Vue 10i for the scene and render. Most of the credits are below. Others are Xurge 3D Elf Lord Suit and Ranger weapon harness. Boots are Wildenlander from DAZ. Hair is Mark Hair by Swam and Gold Tassel from DAZ. I adjusted the hide on Swidhelm's Skywyrm Bull to more green with the material editor in Vue. I had to compress this quite a bit to load here. Here's a link to a higher resolution render. Full Rez version Thanks for looking and comments.

I had a look at the big one and all I can say is "Wow!" This is excellent, Arthur. I love the colors - such rich and vibrant greens!! Really cool image and not at all what I expected from the title. I love those Wildenlander boots. They're great looking boots.

Brilliant lighting, fabulous level of realism achieved here. The dragon is by far the best I've seen in my short time here in the galleries. "Wonderful Work!"

HOLY FRAK!!!!!!!!! Just look at the detail in this! And that's just this version - I'll definitely check out you link to the bigger version. What a magnificent render - you are definitely a Vue Jedi Master, Arthur! This is a wonderful look at a friendlier relationship between man and dragon. I like it!! I'm glad to see PP2012 figures will import to Vue 10. I'd read in the forums where there was some difficulty importing Poser 2012 files, but that may have just been with Vue 9.... Which is what I have. Guess I'd better get 10 before I buy anymore 9 modules.... :-P

dragonmuse 6:19PM | Fri, 09 December 2011

Wow.. if it wasn't for the subjects, this could pass for a photo. Well done.

bigbraader 7:06AM | Sat, 10 December 2011

Very good render, excellent character work. But I don't like the trees, neither the foliage colouring nor the overall look of them. Vue trees are best used in the background. Anyway 5*

A.C.Wolfe 10:12AM | Sat, 10 December 2011

Very nice, love the dragon's skin texture

drifterlee 12:11PM | Sat, 10 December 2011

Gorgeous work!!!!!!

brewgirlca 7:30PM | Sat, 10 December 2011

I had to have a look at DA and now looking back I can see the difference, particularly on the scales of the dragon's chest. I can see bigbraaders point about the lack of clarity with some of the trees but you make the best with the tools you have on hand and if the choice is to make a composition or not then I guess go and know that perhaps something better will come later. I particularly like the mix of shades and tones of green.
