Description
Somehow I talked myself into making artwork for my sister for Christmas this year, and while ambition was plentiful, inspiration was sadly lacking.
Then this happened. I'm still not exactly sure how that came about, but I certainly wouldn't even begin to even think about complaining!
I had to reduce it, and this has been cropped down considerably, as well. The original piece is just over 12 inches by 16 inches. This is chopped out of the middle, somewhat.
Thanks for taking a look, and I sure hope your weekends are going well!

Wonderful lines, color and textures!!!
This is just amazing, Mike! Wow - this HAS to be seen full-size! I love this one, and I'll bet your sis does, too. The colors are gorgeous, and compliment each other, and the lines and design is top-notch. Sometimes the best work comes out of just mucking around with things - and here's proof! Really nice one, my friend!
That's a really cool pattern, almost Celtic, but something different...
this is wonderful looking for the season. you did good
This is fantastic! Really beautiful result. I know your sister will love it ... how could she not? Mesmerizing.
cool abstract design, great texture and colors
Wonderful composition!!!
Fantastic image!
That's beautiful!! Very nice work. :)
This is gorgeous. You know, if you blow it up to full size and then go a bit far back from your monitor screen, it looks almost as if there's something written into the structure of the image itself: a kind of secret code, not exactly like a watermark, but close. I love that effect and this piece is absolutely wonderful. It probably isn't surprising to know that this reminds me of something Nemaean (they go for this kind of thing...they like curves and lines and complex geometries in colors that match their rust and black interiors.) But even without a Nemaean reference, this is a stunning, gorgeous piece of work.
This is a marvelous piece of work with metalic-like coloration and wonderful form.
I like this a lot. It has a kind of hypnotic quality that makes you want to stare at it for a long time and breathe in all the detail. Your sister should love it!
