"Home Sweet Home...to some"
Original image captured with a Canon Xsi Rebel.
While out on my walk the other day, I came upon this wasp nest. I didn't bother to knock to see if anyone was home though...

good they were not a storm trooper mode when you took the picture
must been a little cold as they was not out and about. cool shot
wow - great nest .. i also would not knock there.. ;) .. great photo !
nice shot, beautiful colors
You may have some guests come home to stay the winter if you dare knock!
Super shot and colors, they sure are clever little things.
Fantastic capture.
nice capture and like the structure of this home too!!
lol @ Richardphotos "stormtrooper mode" is a great description~ I am totally in fear of these guys and especially since you can come upon them unawares. Another thing we have here are "ground hornets" which are very much feared when we mow as they can come up out of the hidden nest in the ground in a cloud. Lovely Autumn colors and looks like you were also far enough away to be safe even if they were at home~ =)
A great find and superb capture. I also once found such a thing, could make several shots, with a wasp on it, he was harmless.
Great shot
his house is in a beautiful neighborhood, nice shot
Great capture! Maximum Telephoto lens for me when dealing with these insects from hell
What a great find! Lucky they didn't know you were there, I can't blame you for not knocking. Great shot!
They don't tend to welcome visitors. ;D Superb capture and really good details in zoom! :)

Beautiful capture, colors and POV. Very zoom worthy!
What an interesting composition. The lighting really sculpts the nest.
