Description
I found this pebble while photographing the flower in Shine, and thought it might make an interesting still life.
Simple, right?
Wrong, first it took me half and hour to focus on the damn thing, then the wind blew it away.
I replaced it, only to find, that changed the focus, another half an hour!
Then another 10 mins finding the right exposure. After almost an hour of swearing, this is the end result, I hope it is worth it

Just a thought...I know this one doesn't conform to the rule of thirds, but I just felt this compo worked. Any and all opinion on that would be welcomed.

White. Off center. Textured. Globular. Very nice! This is a deliciously elegant shot, well worth the amount of work you've put into it. I can understand the amount of work you've put into this: I have similar images, including one I posted of a single leaf. It's amazing how things simply move when they're not supposed to, or how they don't blur when you want them to. All-in-all, this is brilliant and inspired. Nicely Zen.
