Description
Larus delawarensis.
A first winter bird. Found at Kennedy Park, Tucson, Arizona, USA. This is the other bird I got yesterday. He was totally comfortable, and no more than 15 feet away. I don't know why we get gulls in Arizona, since we have plenty of beach but no ocean. But we do.

Excellent photo Pat....!!!!!
I'm totally beginner at identifying gulls... I think I would pass along a rarity and not even notice it... Great find and excellent shot ! :~)
