a 'scary' REQUEST for all of you
from the Netherlands
for people from Canada in particular
(if I may??? if not... please forgive me?? ;-D)
Our neighbor CATHERINE is a Canadian Dutch girl. Or a Dutch Canadian girl? (you tell me ;-D)
Born on OCTOBER 31st in EDMONTON, ALBERTA, CANADA...
At the age of 17 she crossed the big pond, forever 'homesick'... (!)
I thought (ahem) it would be an awesome TREAT if you would be willing to post some 'Happy BD from Canada' pics for the Halloween girl!??
Even more if that would be from Alberta... or even Edmonton?!!
Halloween wishes would be welcomed too?
Their house has already been made pretty (see bats, pumpkins and a monstrous skull ;-)).
But we're in the Netherlands here... *bummer! ;-) *
and the 'true' Halloween spirit comes from across the ocean?
(And IF she would think I was pulling some sort of TRICK on her... hey! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! LOL)

hiya! :-D great to 'see' you both! (and THXalot!!!) Hope you & your loved ones are fine!!! @ jayfar... yes, you did 'miss' something, but it's hiding. LOL so it isn't you, cuz you can't find it, except if you're able to locate it when you hear the short occasional growl. there is also a little something hovering just outside the image ready to leap forward, suddenly, at the strike of ...... (no id) ;-D it's just a stupid pic to 'illustrate' an awkward request (that comes from the heart!!! :-D) with the remains of a potato field (I think it was?) at the break of ... behind those trees & bushes is the 'country'road that leads to a meadow -where the 2 cows are and 2 of the horses-. and to cabbage-, pumpkin- a.o. fields behind that. but there is a black thingie on that pic I'm not able to identify! (really!) LOL know there were birds, partridges (oct. 2nd). but it's hovering just above the field (on the left) and does look really strange... not very 'birdlike'

It's not hidden at all, in fact I'm 99% sure it is a blackbird. If it were here it would be a Red-winged Blackbird but your races may be different, anyway... This is actually coming direct from Edmonton, the oil capital of Alberta, and home of the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Eskimos, not to mention the home of whaleman when he isn't up at Abraham Lake or Lake Wabamun or Elk Island Park! So I would like to wish CATHERINE, the Dutch-Canadian girl, a very happy happy birthday! Now how about posting a photo of her, please, pretty please?
