Aloooooooooha~
Had a chance at an early morning shoot at a place I always wanted to catch the sunrise at, and I finally got the chance. This is Laupahoehoe on the Big Island of Hawaii. This place was wiped out by a Tsunami in 1945. On this day, I enjoyed the serine calm and tranquility with a young native of the area. It was quite a nice morning. Lovely, hard to imagine devastation there, the earth recovers slowly but surely. I think Hilo has a Tsunami Museum that chronicles the Tsunami that hit there, is this the same one but on a different part of the island? Scary stuff for us inland-ers.
