Description
This is a portrait I am working on for a client that just has a period birthday party in one of Virgina many historic plantations. Modeling these days, I don't do many of these as I use to, but I am really enjoying this because of this beautiful lace dress and the lovely creature wearing it.
This is a working image with frame for the clients approval before I get down to all the hand time building up layers...especially in the lace, hair. Painter and Wacom tablet.
For the young lady that wanted to know if this was real painting.... My workflow on these is to shoot my ref images, composite them into a working solution, eliminate the surround background, and then simplify the image so that I have patches o0f color. Using the tablet I can then build up detail in layers.
