Description
Zebras, Pajama Donkeys, beauties from Etosha , Namibia
Zebras are fantastic animals to spot in real life, and so well equipped for posing for photographers!!! But their stripes work so well to camouflage the young ones, this not always realized !!
We have seen at least 200 Zebras on one day in Etosha and this are few of them.
Photo is taken from our camper when we drove through the Etosha national park, Namibia. Leaving your car for a photo or something else, is not recommended!!! We have seen a few (very large) elephants and an overload of other species of wildlife in this huge national park . We spent 4 days (3 nights) in this fantastic national park in Namibia.
We made in May / June 2011 a trip through the southern part of Africa ( RSA, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia) .
Thanks for viewing, and your lovely words on my yesterdays posting, a special thanks for those who earmarked the image as favorite; comments are always welcome.
Have a very nice day,
Henk

What a fantastic capture.
fantastic capture against the blue sky !!
Clean, crisp and well focused. Nice composition and gorgeous color.
Superb shot - your composition - placing the animals off-center and putting the horizon midway up really works well in this shot.
