Description
This is a Melanerpes rubricapillus. A woodpecker. Is a nice bird.
This, in particular, usually comes at five in the afternoon to peck a lamp's metal reflector of the parking lot. It's a scandal that you can hear as far as three blocks. I do not know why he does that. At first, you find it fun, but after listening to him every day for a month, you begin to think about changing the camera for a rifle.

Schönes Foto!
Very cool capture and great narrative we've got one that has a fixation on a street light
Woodpeckers are such fun birds! They are smarter than we often think and it's quite possible that he simply likes the sound he makes! Maybe it's some kind of woodpecker code. You never know. I love this capture. Such a cute bird and the title is priceless! Brilliant!
Great capture I haven't saw a woodpecker all summer Hugs Susan~
